welcome
So, I did a thing - I started a blog - more specifically a hub for sharing things that I've learnt, been loving, and those not so great ones.
All through high school, I've always told people that I wanted to be able to share everything that I learnt, so that no one has to go through the struggle of finding advice on the topic of school and even my skin type. I am the first person in my family to go through VCE and university, so this entire education experience has been not only new for myself, but my entire family. There were days and moments that I simply just wanted to throw the towel in and give up. Moments when my skin (I suffer from extremely dry and sensitive skin) was at its worst, and makeup just made it look worse. Products "recommended for sensitive skin" wouldn't work, and to be honest, I felt like a bit of a grub lol. Confidence in myself probably took the biggest hit during my high school days and was an incredible test during my first year of uni. My first year of uni was by far the most challenging year of my entire life.
At the end of year 12, someone suggested that if I was so passionate about sharing my experiences, why not start a youtube channel or a podcast. The only issue - I hate the sound of my own voice LOL, but expressing myself through words has always been something that I've loved, and hence this blog.
I'm still quite new to this whole blogging thing, but please let me know if you have any recommendations, advice or suggestions - I want this blog to be real, honest and vulnerable and hopefully you can take something away from it whether that be a study tip, a new skincare recommendation or just some motivation.
Strong women lift each other up. I think it's so important that we lift each other up, instead of tear each other down and compete with one another. Life shouldn't have to be a competition. Let's celebrate each others wins, and support each other through our losses. THIS is the purpose of this blog, I hope this may inspire you to do the same <3
S xoxo
